Principal Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish the comprehensive application and solution architectures needed to support customer projects.

• Recognize and respond to architecturally significant modifications.

• Conduct architecture impact evaluations.

• Develop technical documentation and present solutions to the Account Architecture Review Board (ARB).

• Allocate architecture resources across project portfolios and provide mentorship to junior personnel.

• Execute final reviews on document deliverables intended for the customer.

• Work collaboratively with various levels of leadership, including PMO and project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience in application architecture and/or product development.

• Proficiency in architectural framework methodologies such as TOGAF.

• Knowledge of software systems, applications, and the supporting infrastructure.

• Familiarity with application design principles and product configurations.

• Expertise in programming languages, databases, tools, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles and client requirements.

• Leadership abilities to guide and mentor teams.

• Strongly preferred – experience in Enterprise Architecture within a Healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile.
