Principal Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive application and solution architectures that align with customer initiatives and programs.

• Identify and resolve architecturally significant modifications.

• Execute architecture impact assessments.

• Create technical documentation and present solutions to the Account Architecture Review Board (ARB).

• Allocate architecture resources across a portfolio of projects while mentoring junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience in application architecture and/or product development.

• Familiarity with architectural framework methodologies such as TOGAF.

• Experience with software systems, applications, and their supporting infrastructure.

• Knowledge of application design principles and product configurations.

• Proficiency in programming languages, databases, tooling, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles and client requirements.

• Strong leadership abilities to mentor less experienced staff.

• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers, support staff, application developers, and management.
