Principal Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive application and solution architectures for various customer initiatives and programs.

• Address the needs related to business, information, application, infrastructure/cloud, network, security, technical operations, and compliance architecture.

• Identify significant architectural changes across multiple projects.

• Execute architecture impact assessments.

• Create technical documentation and present solutions to the Account Architecture Review Board.

• Allocate architectural resources across a range of projects.

• Provide mentorship to junior architecture and project team members.

• Conduct final reviews of customer-facing document deliverables.

• Collaborate with the PMO, project teams, infrastructure and security teams, leadership, and clients.

• Engage in technical research, testing, and evaluation of complex IT systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience in application architecture and/or product development.

• Familiarity with architectural framework methodologies such as TOGAF.

• Experience with software systems, applications, and the supporting infrastructure.

• Knowledge of application design principles and product configurations.

• Proficiency in programming languages, databases, tools, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.

• Understanding of software development lifecycles and client requirements.

• Leadership abilities to mentor and guide less experienced personnel.

• Strong communication skills for interactions with customers, support staff, application developers, and management.

• Strongly preferred: experience in enterprise architecture within a healthcare setting.

• Proven experience in driving enterprise architecture initiatives for large State and Federal Accounts.

• Experience in creating technical roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and supporting documentation.

• Experience in conducting technical research, testing, and evaluation of complex IT systems.

• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.
