This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Drive business development and revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new client relationships, with responsibility for meeting significant sales targets.
• Take ownership of and expand strategic client accounts, acting as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor to cultivate long-lasting relationships that enhance BMI's brand and market position.
• Lead the development of persuasive proposals, RFPs, and capability presentations that highlight BMI's integrated analytics and technology offerings.
• Manage the complete engagement lifecycle, including selling, contracting, scoping, kickoff, delivery, and post-project follow-up to ensure outstanding client value.
• Provide intellectual leadership and strategic direction to project teams, guiding solution design and ensuring analytical rigor throughout the delivery process.
• Build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams of professionals across various levels and locations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• 12+ years of experience with a proven track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
• Experience managing client portfolios with accountability for growth and client satisfaction.
• Senior-level expertise in solution selling with the ability to identify client pain points and formulate compelling value propositions.
• Extensive knowledge in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, including forecasting, market research, pricing strategy, market access, field operations, and commercial modeling.
• Strong strategic and business acumen with the ability to frame complex business issues and design innovative solutions.
• Significant experience leading and developing large teams (20+ individuals) across multiple geographies and levels.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop top talent, with a history of building high-performing organizations.
• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS) from a leading institution in a quantitative field, life sciences, or business.
