Principal AI Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design the AI Technical Strategy: Collaborate with enterprise account teams to take ownership of and implement the technical sales strategy, facilitating intricate, high-value AI security opportunities from initial discovery to closure.

• Provide Engaging, High-Impact Demonstrations & POVs: Customize and showcase tailored, outcome-focused presentations of Zscaler’s AI security platform that appeal to both deep-tech professionals and C-level executives. When necessary, guide customers through successful demonstrations and POVs to affirm Zscaler’s capability to securely support enterprise AI.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Function as the field specialist on contemporary AI patterns (including RAG, agents, and prompt workflows), offering guidance to clients on how to avert sensitive data exposure and unauthorized AI utilization.

• Enhance the Field Motion: Work alongside Product and Engineering to incorporate real-world customer insights into the product roadmap, while creating reusable demo assets and enablement playbooks to elevate our global sales team.

• Empower Colleagues: Create reusable demos, technical materials, competitive positioning, and enablement resources to aid in scaling Zscaler’s AI field initiatives while sharing best practices and providing training to enterprise account teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound Understanding of AI/GenAI: Strong foundational expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), MCP (Model Context Protocol) orchestration patterns, and the associated security risks.

• Over 10 Years of Solutions Engineering Expertise: A demonstrated history in a client-facing technical capacity (Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Advisory) managing complex, enterprise-level sales processes.

• Strong Foundation in Enterprise Security: Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Zero Trust architecture, data loss prevention (DLP), cloud-native security platforms, and API integrations.

• Superior Executive Communication Skills: Outstanding presentation and storytelling abilities, with a proven track record of effectively converting intricate AI architectures into concrete business value and security results.

• Collaborative and Elevating Teamwork: Successfully engage cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other go-to-market teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing market.
