Principal AI Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for AI-driven solutions and digital transformation projects.

• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to pinpoint strategic AI opportunities and assess business impacts.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and advisory engagements.

• Spearhead intricate process transformations that align with business objectives and technical capabilities.

• Assess AI technologies, platforms, and solution architectures.

• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to develop solution designs, prototypes, pilots, and proofs of concept.

• Convert strategic business objectives into product requirements, priorities, and delivery plans.

• Oversee the prioritization of AI product investments.

• Lead cross-functional teams through product delivery, implementation, adoption, and ongoing improvements.

• Establish success metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to validate outcomes and return on investment.

• Deliver executive-level communication, thought leadership, and strategic recommendations.

• Mentor stakeholders and contribute to best practices in AI product management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, digital transformation, or related leadership roles.

• Proven track record in owning and driving product strategy, roadmaps, and business outcomes for complex technology initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, document intelligence, conversational AI, and workflow orchestration.

• Strong technical skills with the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and data teams.

• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level process transformation and technology modernization projects.

• Experience in developing business cases, product investment strategies, and executive-level recommendations.

• Ability to assess trade-offs among business value, customer impact, technical complexity, and organizational readiness.

• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, presentation, and executive communication skills.

• Capability to operate independently while offering Principal-level leadership and strategic guidance.

• Outstanding documentation, product storytelling, and roadmap communication abilities.

• Experience as a Principal Product Manager, Product Director, AI Product Lead, or in a similar senior leadership role.

• Background in designing or launching AI-enabled products from concept to production deployment.

• Familiarity with AI solution architecture, machine learning lifecycle concepts, and modern cloud platforms.

• Experience in highly regulated or complex enterprise environments.

• Proficiency with Agile product management frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean Product methodologies.

• Exposure to multi-agent AI systems, advanced automation platforms, and intelligent orchestration frameworks.

• Consulting or strategic advisory experience supporting executive leadership teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Product Management, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Business Analysis, AI, or Cloud certifications are strongly preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
