Primary Care Physician – FM/IM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully-remote, virtual environment.

• Enhance remote healthcare by offering compassionate and impactful patient interactions.

• Oversee a dedicated patient panel as their primary care physician.

• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically necessary.

• Participate in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture).

• Assist patients immediately after discharge to enhance their understanding of treatment plans and minimize hospital readmissions.

• Engage in ongoing self-assessment to maintain compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.

• More than 3 years of post-residency professional experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in an in-person primary care environment.

• Experience with virtual consultations is required.

• Must possess an active NC state medical license; IMLC is preferred.

• Previous experience with EPIC EMR is necessary.

• Clean background and a history free from medical malpractice.

• Willing to commit to 40 hours per week, with 36 hours dedicated to clinical duties.

• Availability to work on Mondays and Fridays with flexible start times (e.g., 7 am-12:30 pm EDT).

• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

• Strong desire to cultivate long-term relationships with patients and manage chronic care issues.

• Comfortable managing acute conditions in a virtual setting.

• Extensive experience managing more than 3 cases per hour.
