This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct virtual primary care consultations through video and various telehealth platforms.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide array of acute and chronic conditions in adult patients.
• Order and analyze laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications and oversee ongoing treatment regimens.
• Offer patient education and provide clinical insights.
• Collaborate with specialists, care coordinators, and external healthcare providers as necessary.
• Provide support to patients throughout the entire care continuum, from initial consultation to follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and efficient documentation in Athena EMR and other internal systems.
• Comply with all telehealth regulations, prescribing standards, and state-specific requirements.
• Appropriately escalate care based on clinical necessity.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams.
• Deliver high-quality, efficient clinical care while ensuring safe and compliant practices across various state jurisdictions.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted DEA license.
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple states within the U.S.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in primary care or related areas post-residency.
• Preferred eligibility for or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to address a diverse range of patient needs.
• Comfortable practicing independently in a virtual healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication skills complemented by a strong virtual bedside manner.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; experience with Athena is preferred.
• Prior experience in telehealth or virtual care settings is preferred.
• Experience in managing adult patients across preventive, acute, and chronic care is preferred.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment is preferred.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams is preferred.
• Multistate licensure in high-demand states is preferred.
• Physicians must maintain active licenses in the states where care is provided.
