This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Gather and evaluate Dealer Tire data concerning Pricing, Merchandising, and AOR.
• Review and assess extensive data sets to ensure the accuracy of all information.
• Utilize both new and established technologies in the most efficient manner possible (which may include but is not limited to: data warehouse solutions, Alteryx, Snowflake, R-Studio, Excel, VBA, SQL Server Management Studio) to identify trends and provide recommendations.
• Determine the elements of a problem and employ suitable analytics techniques to develop solutions.
• Assist Pricing, Merchandising, AOR, and Finance teams with advanced analytics and, when assigned, offer support for all DT family companies.
• Compile, oversee, and disseminate operational reports and metrics, offering interpretations of the results and suggestions for actions to be taken.
• Apply data and analytics to aid Dealer Tire in achieving annual revenue and margin goals.
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to devise solutions, including but not limited to: Supply Chain, Sales, Program Management, IT, and Marketing.
• On an as-needed basis, provide support and analysis to Finance, Program Management, Sales, Supplier Relations, and Inventory Management.
• Work together with others in the organization to enhance data analytics and processes, ensuring a consistent approach and strategy.
• Maintain or create tools that accurately represent profitability in various forms for Pricing, Merchandising, and AOR.
• Examine the gross margin impact and revenue implications of recommendations provided to Pricing, Merchandising, and AOR teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a technical role focused on performance analytics, financial analysis, pricing/product analysis, or another related business area.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI is essential.
• Experience with Alteryx or similar analytic process automation software is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Database Management, VBA, and SQL.
• Strong expertise in analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python) and visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
• Expertise in statistics, data modeling, and manipulation of large data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Capability to develop and sustain complex databases.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate information and to translate concepts into financial and operational models.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of business and finance/accounting principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional working environment.
