
Pricing and Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Develop and maintain a well-defined pricing structure that aligns with overall merchandising and channel strategies.
• Oversee the markdown pricing process and conduct analysis to optimize sell-through and margin for all clearance and discontinued SKUs.
• Track product and category profitability to proactively suggest price modifications aimed at maximizing revenue and profitability.
• Create reports to monitor competitor pricing and provide recommendations for price adjustments based on competitor positioning.
• Predict the effects of price and promotion adjustments on the business and evaluate the financial impact of these changes after implementation.
• Work in partnership with Marketing and Ecommerce teams on promotional and pricing strategies, especially during significant holiday sales events.
• Enhance the sophistication of pricing analysis through the development of elasticity studies and improved forecasting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a retail or ecommerce environment, with a preference for experience in pricing analysis.
• Strong data analysis and analytical abilities with a comfort level in handling very large datasets.
• Prior experience in forecasting is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with financial and statistical analysis.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Comfortable with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
