Pricing Analyst V, Intel, Cyber & Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Directs the processes involved in creating cost and price proposals.

• Manages cost and price volume submissions for medium to complex proposals with limited oversight.

• Develops cost models, cost narratives, and other necessary components for cost and price volumes.

• Ensures adherence to the estimating system manual along with other relevant policies and procedures.

• Conducts quality assurance reviews to guarantee that cost and price volume elements are precise and meet solicitation requirements.

• Formulates and executes proposal strategies to align with company goals.

• Offers pricing advice and assistance as needed to field personnel engaged in pricing activities.

• Serves as a mentor, guiding and supervising other pricing staff on larger, more complex proposals.

• Collaborates with Operations, Business Development, and Functional Support teams to gather or create data essential for price development and other cost/price volume components.

• Heads the Pricing function in close partnership with the capture/proposal team, spearheading the formulation of strategic pricing strategies, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires 12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• A Master's degree combined with 8 years of experience (two (2) years in contracts or pricing can replace each year of the four (4) years of college education).

• Background in cost proposal preparation or development is essential.

• Relevant finance experience may be accepted for some years in place of cost proposal preparation and development.

• Must be capable of working extended hours, frequently at short notice, to meet deadlines.

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Currently possessing a US Security Clearance or the ability to secure one is preferred.
