Pricing Analyst II – Change Order & Modifications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop cost and pricing proposals ranging from simple to medium complexity by applying cost accounting standards and utilizing the Company's Estimating System under the general guidance of senior pricing staff.

• Collaborate closely with team members in a fast-paced environment to adhere to solicitation requirements and ensure regulatory compliance for all proposals.

• Engage with Operations, Business Development, and Functional Support teams to gather or create the necessary data for pricing or other elements of a cost/price volume.

• Maintain adherence to the estimating system manual alongside other policies and procedures.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify that cost/price volume elements are precise and meet solicitation requirements.

• Offer pricing guidance and support to field personnel involved in pricing-related tasks as needed.

• Able to construct accurate cost models based on given guidelines and requirements, as well as modify and update existing templates to fulfill specific goals and outcomes.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior pricing team members as necessary, while promoting collaboration with senior pricing professionals to ensure best practices and optimal results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in preparing or developing cost proposals; relevant finance experience may be accepted for some years in place of cost proposal preparation and development.

• Fundamental understanding of proposal development with a working knowledge of basis of estimates (BOE) and bills of materials (BOM).

• Strong proficiency in Excel and solid mathematical skills.

• Excellent analytical abilities.

• Must possess effective communication skills across various organizational levels.
