Manager, Estimating and Pricing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Prepare and submit finalized TINA cost volumes to the proposal team within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment while ensuring the utmost compliance.

• The chosen candidate will be tasked with verifying the accuracy and compliance of Basis of Estimates.

• Provide proactive assistance to the Contracts and Program Management Team during negotiations regarding customer pricing.

• Aid in the development of proposals in alignment with all Collins procedures and governmental regulations.

• Collaborate with Contracts, Production Control, Program Management, and Cost Estimating Teams to create comprehensive cost and price analyses for proposal preparation.

• Address all government inquiries and audits, ensuring effective communication with DCMA and DCAA entities.

• Guarantee adherence to government regulations, internal Collins regulations, and Collins pricing policies.

• Create, sustain, and periodically review compliance processes for both direct and indirect government proposals.

• Spearhead strategies for customer-suggested profit margins and general pricing principles.

• Work strategically with the Proposal Management Group to execute process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline and at least 5 years of experience.

• Experience in Proposal Pricing and/or Compliance Auditing.

• Familiarity with Military Pricing and/or US Government contract clauses (FAR, DFAR, TINA, etc.).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
