Preventative Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Carry out preventative maintenance on machinery within Company-owned retail coffeehouses.

• Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment such as espresso/brewing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

• Manage scheduling independently based on the operational needs of the business.

• Monitor and maintain equipment data effectively.

• Assess equipment to determine the necessity for repairs or replacements.

• Offer troubleshooting assistance for store operations regarding equipment issues.

• Deliver direct service support to retail stores for repair and maintenance requirements for daily operations as well as urgent needs.

• Install and uninstall equipment as necessary.

• Coordinate repairs through third-party service providers identified during scheduled maintenance.

• Recognize repair trends and issues through collaboration with Store Operations leadership.

• Report findings and issues to Facilities leadership to determine subsequent actions.

• Tailor communication to store leadership to ensure effective partnership is maintained.

• Proactively address problems and issues as they arise to develop acceptable and practical solutions based on knowledge of the company's best practices.

• Manage spare parts inventory and order parts as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in servicing restaurant equipment (experience with espresso and brewing equipment is advantageous).

• Familiarity and experience with restaurant/food service equipment as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with the company’s driving policy.

• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.

• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
