Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive management of mental health medications through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, conduct psychiatric medication evaluations, and oversee ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centered treatment strategies, document treatment recommendations, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication management that adheres to clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, focused attention, minimizing medication risks, and maximizing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR a graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, preferably holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or completion of another academic psychiatry certificate program, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in South Carolina.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who possess an active DEA license.

• Preference given to NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have an office space suitable for seeing clients.

• Capable of providing care to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers offering in-person care options.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
