Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up consultations.

• Perform mental health risk evaluations, psychiatric medication assessments, and ongoing medication management.

• Develop patient-focused treatment plans, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment that adheres to clinical best practice standards (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, careful monitoring, minimizing medication risks, and maximizing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR a graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, with a preference for those holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or completion of any other academic psychiatry certificate program, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a concentration in Psychiatry.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in Wisconsin.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs possessing an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have an office space available for seeing clients.

• Capability to provide care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers offering in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
