Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centered treatment strategies, document treatment suggestions, communicate with patients, and prescribe and oversee psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to providing safe, evidence-based medication treatment aligned with clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, careful monitoring, minimizing medication risks, and maximizing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduation from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, with a preference for those holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, a post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or completion of another academic psychiatry certificate program, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Possession of an unrestricted state license in Ohio.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs who hold an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certifications or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have an office space equipped to see clients.

• Capability to provide care to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who offer in-person options.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
