This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Engage with prospects, customers, and sales teams to thoroughly understand and anticipate business needs.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for banking payments and related technologies during client discussions, offering insights on emerging payment technologies such as real-time payments, ISO20022, cross-border payments, digital currencies, and more.
• Create and present persuasive proposals by converting complex business requirements into clearly defined solution designs that are technologically robust, particularly utilizing SAP Fioneer technology, especially our Payment Centralization product.
• Collaborate with customers and prospects to demonstrate the effectiveness of your solution designs and identify further innovation needs (e.g., through fit-gap analyses).
• Understand the complex interdependencies within the customer organization to determine the appropriate engagement strategy.
• Promote transformational advancements in the initial phases of projects to ensure optimal alignment and realization of business value.
• Over 7 years of experience in consulting, banking, and/or software firms, with a strong emphasis on payments and a proven history of successful project execution.
• Extensive knowledge of payment systems and a solid grasp of technology.
• A consultative selling approach combined with a hands-on attitude to deliver value and project experience, particularly for strategic engagements and early project phases.
• Experience in responding to RfPs/RfIs and producing high-quality proposals.
• Familiarity with SAP products and/or SAP consulting is advantageous.
• Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; German language proficiency is a plus.
