This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• In the role of Pre-sales Engineer, you will serve as an authority on our solutions and a reliable advisor for our clients.
• Your responsibilities will include nurturing and enhancing client relationships, as well as assisting clients through the implementation of SHIELD's solutions both before and after the sale.
• You will collaborate closely with various internal and external teams to provide exceptional service and support, including technical and solution consultancy as well as quick troubleshooting.
• You will take charge of the proof of concept (POC) as a technical single point of contact (SPOC), overseeing implementation and onboarding responsibilities as a Pre-sales Engineer.
• You will be tasked with delivering demonstrations of SHIELD's capabilities alongside your Sales counterpart and will be able to tailor or data model the demo according to the specific use cases of clients.
• You will function as a liaison for technical support to existing customers, facilitating product adoption in line with pre-sales, post-sales, and renewal processes.
• Represent the company to clients to maintain and further develop existing relationships, building strong trust and delivering value accordingly.
• Collaborate across various teams at SHIELD to ensure timely and professional troubleshooting for any technical issues encountered by clients.
• Demonstrate empathy by understanding the client's perspective and being dedicated to achieving a high level of client satisfaction while upholding the company’s integrity and values.
• Conduct regular technical account reviews, product training sessions, and on-site visits to provide insights and analytics to clients.
• Assist clients in optimizing the overall solution to ensure their success with SHIELD solutions and promote long-term achievements.
• Act as a trusted technical and solution advisor for our clients. Engage with the SHIELD product and engineering teams to manage the prioritization of clients' feature requests.
• Actively promote the adoption of SHIELD's products by identifying opportunities where our solutions can better align with clients' needs and technologies.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years in client-facing roles such as Pre-sales Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Support Engineering within the B2B enterprise Software/SaaS/payments/mobile industry.
• Hands-on experience with SDK implementation is advantageous.
• Practical knowledge or familiarity with HTTP, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and SQL is required.
• Significant experience in driving integration and serving as the primary contact for clients throughout the POC process.
• Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
