This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of predictive analytics aimed at facilitating crucial business decisions.
• Utilize statistical and analytical methodologies to construct models and produce actionable insights.
• Design and sustain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations that support analytics workflows.
• Execute data extraction, preparation, and integration from various sources, ensuring high standards of data quality and reliability.
• Leverage SQL and programming languages (Python, R) to analyze extensive datasets and develop analytical solutions.
• Assess model performance and engage in ongoing enhancements and optimization efforts.
• Craft reports and visualizations to convey insights and monitor performance metrics.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address emerging business inquiries and priorities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop a robust understanding of the enterprise data landscape, particularly within finance and insurance data sectors (pricing, underwriting, claims).
• Participate in the continuous improvement of analytics processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Operate with a significant degree of autonomy, proactively fostering relationships and advancing initiatives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Over 3 years of experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar); a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred (pricing, underwriting, claims), though not mandatory.
• Actuarial knowledge or qualifications are considered a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• - SQL (advanced)
• - ETL and data pipeline development (advanced)
• Proficient working knowledge of:
• - Python and/or R (intermediate)
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake is a plus.
• Comprehension of predictive modeling concepts and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking abilities and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision in an unstructured, evolving environment.
• A curious mindset and ownership to thoroughly understand data sources, systems, and business context from start to finish.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling clear presentation of insights and the narrative behind the data.
• A relationship-building approach, proactively engaging stakeholders across various functions.

• Experience with finance or enterprise datasets is an advantage.
