This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the coordination among engineering teams, consultants, contractors, owners, and clients to establish project scope, document any deviations, and align technical requirements.
• Ensure alignment of changing owner and client inputs with design standards, budget objectives, cash flow considerations, and early schedule milestones.
• Take ownership of CDE completion and the management of BOD generation and deviations.
• Actively participate in Client contract/SLA reviews in relation to the CDE and BOD.
• Create and manage the initial project schedule with contributions from other leadership team members, while tracking project deliverables, timelines, and critical milestones.
• Oversee the review of preconstruction/design documents, initial engineering analyses, bid packages, and preliminary schedules.
• Generate and maintain the preconstruction budget until it is handed over to development project management.
• Incorporate preconstruction management into the early design phase, including conceptual budgeting, cost benchmarking, and risk identification.
• Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams to evaluate OFCI strategies and assess cost impacts.
• Conduct structured preconstruction and design alignment meetings.
• Provide guidance to development and leadership teams regarding technical constraints, site limitations, cost drivers, and schedule risks.
• Support the QA/QC process to ensure that all deliverables are execution-ready.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring accountability for scope control and budget compliance.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management, design, design management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the design and construction of data center and/or mission-critical projects.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering systems and their integration into mission-critical environments.
