Pre-SIU Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• The Pre-SIU Adjuster, under the guidance of the Pre-SIU Supervisor, is tasked with carrying out the preliminary investigation of automobile claims that involve high-risk fraud scenarios.

• Detect potential indicators of fraud and ensure that investigations are conducted promptly and meticulously documented.

• Refer relevant cases to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) for further action.

• Conduct activities including social media investigations, database inquiries, credit assessments, and background checks.

• Investigate, assess, and resolve automobile claims associated with theft, fire, vandalism, and other suspicious types of loss.

• Record investigations and findings, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector focusing on automobile claims.

• Strong knowledge of insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology.

• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

• A disciplined approach to all job-related responsibilities.

• A solid foundation in personal organization, effective decision-making, analytical abilities, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while juggling multiple priorities concurrently.
