This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients and convert their requirements into viable, scalable solutions utilizing the LAYR platform.
• Manage product demonstrations, in-depth explorations, and technical presentations that foster trust and enhance conversion rates.
• Facilitate discussions on integration and feasibility (BESS, grid, trading/optimization, data flows), including assessments of effort and dependencies.
• Evaluate and refine product-related contractual terms, ensuring that technical commitments are verified prior to signing.
• Serve as the primary link between Sales and Product/Engineering, transforming customer requirements into structured internal specifications and prioritized feature requests.
• Ensure seamless project execution through the commissioning of BESS and act as the first point of contact for technical inquiries post-launch, collaborating with Product and Customer Success.
• Proven experience in technical pre-sales as a Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or in post-sales/implementation roles with substantial customer interaction or a strong desire to learn.
• Solid technical knowledge of BESS, power markets, trading/optimization, and modern product architectures (APIs, data integrations, platform products).
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex topics into clear decisions for customers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at coordinating between customers and internal teams under tight deadlines.
• Commercial mindset, balancing technical feasibility with deal momentum and customer value.
• An execution-oriented problem solver with a proactive “get it done” mentality.
• Holistic thinker, naturally considering product, customer, legal, and operational implications beyond just technical aspects.
• Customer-centric approach, proactively identifying pain points and presenting solutions that encourage adoption and foster long-term trust.
• Fluent in both German and English (minimum C1 level).
