This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Supports Sales Account Managers and Product Specialists in meeting or surpassing sales targets by offering technical and scientific expertise, primarily focused on application and technical support.
• May operate with a focus on clients or specific products.
• Plays a role in sales account planning and strategy formulation.
• Actively engages in the sales process, from opportunity qualification to deal closure.
• Takes ownership of and leads the technical closure of sales opportunities.
• Responsible for individual performance targets and for aiding the wider sales team in reaching business objectives.
• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the competitive market and identifies lockout specifications, emphasizing Agilent’s competitive strengths.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests suitable, value-driven solutions.
• Works collaboratively with sales teams to create and implement technical sales strategies.
• Evaluates and assists management in ramp-to-volume strategies for new products prior to their market introduction.
• Leads product demonstrations, improving overall customer experience and satisfaction.
• Provides technical training to the sales team.
• Serves as the voice of the customer, impacting future product and application development; prepares application briefs to highlight product capabilities.
• Prepares and presents technical seminars to clients and prospects; contributes to renowned scientific forums through written, oral, and poster presentations.
• May assist with post-sales activities as needed.
• Adheres to Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements to access customer sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
• Master’s or PhD is strongly preferred
• Advanced/Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) – mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience with: GC and GC-MS platforms, Valved GC systems, Micro GC solutions
• Proven experience in pre-sales technical roles, advanced applications, or solution consulting.
• Industry experience in one or more of the following sectors: Petrochemical / Energy, Industrial gases, Environmental, Chemical processing
• Travel Required: 75% of the Time
