Pre-Licensed Therapist – LGSW, LGPC, MFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide individual telehealth therapy to clients within the LGBTQ+ community

• Offer affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment that is customized to the needs of the community

• Perform clinical assessments

• Ensure timely and HIPAA-compliant documentation within the Avon EMR system

• Employ evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT

• Utilize proprietary tools, including the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol, between sessions

• Engage in regular and mandatory clinical supervision

• Work towards achieving full independent licensure

• Maintain a minimum of 10 client-facing sessions each week

• Report directly to the Clinical Director

• Concentrate on client care while Allswell manages billing, scheduling, and client outreach

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active DC license as an LGSW, LGPC, or MFT

• Demonstrate experience and a strong enthusiasm for working with LGBTQ+ clients

• Exhibit cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care

• Be comfortable providing individual / one-on-one therapy in a telehealth environment

• Skilled in conducting clinical assessments and maintaining timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation

• Commit to a minimum of 10 sessions per week

• Have flexible scheduling availability from Monday to Sunday

• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT is preferred

• Be comfortable with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care

• Additional licensure in Maryland, Virginia, or North Carolina is an advantage
