Pre-Construction Coordinator, Estimator – Residential, High End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Generate comprehensive construction estimates utilizing Buildertrend and other recognized estimating software.

• Oversee pre-construction efforts, which include site evaluations, material take-offs, subcontractor bidding, and clarifying project scope.

• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal team members to obtain precise project information.

• Examine drawings, contracts, specifications, and bid documents to pinpoint scope discrepancies, risks, absent information, and opportunities for value engineering.

• Aid in developing project timelines in Buildertrend and ensure that pre-construction milestones are achieved punctually.

• Keep meticulous and well-organized records of bids, proposals, contracts, vendor pricing, and project documentation.

• Relay the status of estimates, unresolved items, risks, deadlines, and subsequent steps to internal teams.

• Facilitate a seamless transition from pre-construction to production.

• Assist in transforming client requirements, drawings, site specifics, budgets, schedules, and input from trade partners into clear, structured, and actionable project plans.

• Mitigate unexpected issues, enhance project readiness, and contribute to the success of high-end residential remodeling projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator for residential projects within the USA market.

• At least 5 years of experience as an estimator, either remotely or on-site.

• Demonstrated experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or pre-construction support.

• Extensive expertise in residential estimating; experience limited to commercial estimating is not applicable.

• Knowledge of Buildertrend or comparable construction management software.

• Strong comprehension of construction documents, scopes of work, scheduling, contracts, and site coordination.

• Experience collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, or field teams.

• Outstanding organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects or estimates concurrently.

• Professional-level proficiency in English for regular video and phone communications with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Experience working with clients in Oregon.

• Availability to work in the Pacific U.S. timezone.
