Pre-Commissioning Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for conducting tests within the GE GSI scope of work.

• Collaborate with the Commissioning Lead and Commissioning Coordinator to implement the commissioning plan.

• Carry out instrument functionality verification on-site.

• Execute electrical pre-commissioning tests on instrumentation.

• Perform pre-commissioning tests (both electrical and mechanical) on auxiliary systems of Substation plants and HVDC-FACS.

• Offer support to site teams facing technical challenges or issues.

• Prepare technical reports, manage material orders, compile job status reports, and submit timesheets and expense reports to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technician degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience or an equivalent qualification.

• Proficient technical knowledge of Substation yard apparatus and controls, including Disconnect Switches, Circuit Breakers, Surge Arrestors, Voltage Transformers, Current Transformers, etc.

• Strong commitment to EHS culture.

• A collaborative mindset, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and autonomy.

• Capability to multitask and transition between various projects and initiatives under tight deadlines.

• A strong orientation towards customer service.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Candidates must possess valid work authorization allowing them to work in the US.
