This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design, develop, and enhance client/server and web applications utilizing PowerBuilder.

• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing support.

• Collaborate closely with business units and functional analysts to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Maintain the quality, stability, and integrity of applications through thorough testing, validation, and debugging processes.

• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges.

• Advocate for continuous improvements in processes, standards, and development methodologies.

• Conduct both corrective and evolutionary maintenance of systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within an agile framework.

• Demonstrated experience in developing with PowerBuilder versions 21 or 22.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and development best practices.

• Familiarity with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficiency in version control tools like Git.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
