Power Transformer Technician – FST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Installation and commissioning of power transformers.

• Performing routine maintenance, testing, and inspections on power transformers.

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborating with the assigned crew and other departments to address complex issues.

• Frequent travel to customer locations for on-site support.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Technical certification or an associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in field service or a similar role focused on power transformers.

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude is essential.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to power transformers.

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.

• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations pertaining to power transformers.
