Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain high-quality Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions that align with government requirements.

• Analyze requirements to determine suitable Power Platform solutions.

• Facilitate in-depth interviews and workshops with government stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business needs.

• Examine and record requirements to ensure a clear understanding of desired outcomes and functional specifications.

• Identify any gaps or inconsistencies in requirements and collaboratively resolve them with stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and customize Power BI reports and dashboards for effective data visualization.

• Create Power Apps solutions that cater to specific government processes, featuring user-friendly interfaces and seamless data integration.

• Develop and design SharePoint pages, templates, and sites utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other approved programming languages.

• Construct SharePoint list and library forms using Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Develop and tailor document libraries using content types and site columns.

• Integrate SharePoint workflows with external systems and data sources for automated data retrieval and updates.

• Perform testing and debugging of workflows to ensure precision and dependability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Power Platform (BI/APPS/Automate) administration and development.

• Proficient in tools/areas including: Power BI Desktop application, SharePoint Online, Power Query Editor, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Data Modeling and Relationships, Custom Visualizations, Data Source Connectivity, and Performance Optimization.

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a US Department of Education accredited university is mandatory.

• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate.
