Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains web-based applications, client-server solutions, and automation scripts that facilitate SCPO's business operations.

• Creates solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and associated Microsoft 365 technologies.

• Integrates commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into the current architecture.

• Employs RDBMS and SQL expertise to enhance data-driven applications.

• Plans, documents, codes, modifies, tests, and implements computer programs following established Systems Development Methodology.

• Analyzes program and production issues to ensure ongoing reliability of SCPO applications.

• Collaborates closely with SCPO business leaders and end users to define requirements, analyze, and design new or improved system solutions, and draft program specifications.

• Documents testing conditions, creates test data, conducts testing, and evaluates results.

• Coordinates system testing and assists users during acceptance testing.

• Aids in research on new technologies, contributes to multiple simultaneous project requests, and supports the development and maintenance of data and process models, work plans, and project organization.

• Develops guides for administrators and end-users, training materials, and provides ongoing technical support for applications developed by contractors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and modifying web-based applications, client-server solutions, or OS scripts for process automation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) or Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Familiarity with implementing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into existing systems.

• Background in the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, documenting, coding, modifying, testing, and implementing computer programs using a Systems Development Methodology.
