Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, test, and uphold web-based applications, client-server applications, and automation scripts that facilitate SCPO business processes, budget management tools, and enterprise reporting requirements.

• Create solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, along with associated Microsoft 365 technologies.

• Integrate commercial off-the-shelf software into the current architecture.

• Leverage RDBMS and SQL expertise to support data-driven applications.

• Plan, document, code, modify, test, and deploy computer programs following an established Systems Development Methodology.

• Examine program and production issues to enhance application reliability.

• Collaborate with SCPO business leads and end users to define requirements, analyze and design system solutions, and draft program specifications.

• Document test conditions, generate test data, execute testing, analyze outcomes, coordinate system testing, and assist users with acceptance testing.

• Investigate new technologies and contribute to multiple simultaneous project requests.

• Assist in developing data and process models, work plans, and project organization.

• Create administrator and end-user guides along with training materials.

• Provide continuous technical support for applications developed by contractors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and modifying web-based applications, client-server applications, or OS scripts for process automation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) or Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Experience in implementing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into existing architecture.

• Familiarity with the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, documenting, coding, modifying, testing, and deploying computer programs using a Systems Development Methodology.

• Desired: Experience in supporting VA/VHA and/or other federal health agencies.

• Desired: Experience in documenting test conditions, creating test data, analyzing test results, coordinating system testing, and assisting users with acceptance testing.

• Desired: Experience in analyzing and designing system enhancements, defining requirements with users, and writing program specifications.

• Desired: Experience in maintaining data and process models, work plans, and project organization.

• Desired: Experience in developing administrator and end-user guides and training materials.
