Power Generation Technician – Field Service, Diesel, Electrical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on generators, light towers, and electrical distribution systems.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues in diesel engines, electrical systems (12/24V DC, 480V AC), and controls.

• Address field service calls and provide support at customer sites as necessary.

• Assist in guiding and mentoring junior technicians during their daily tasks.

• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.

• Keep precise service records and reports.

• Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure equipment is prepared for deployment.

• Support Field Tech responsibilities as needed.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in servicing generators, diesel engines, or heavy equipment.

• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities in both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Familiarity with power generation equipment is preferred.

• Capacity to work independently and in field environments.

• Experience in leadership or mentoring roles is advantageous.
