This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• A licensed Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Professional Engineer with a focus on power generation, tasked with executing detailed design engineering, control system analysis, and system integration activities.
• Lead the design, specification, and integration of instrumentation and control systems for power generation initiatives.
• Create and review engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, control logic diagrams, instrument data sheets, control narratives, system configuration documents, and functional test procedures.
• Conduct engineering analyses that cover instrumentation selection, control loop performance, system reliability, and failure modes to guarantee safe and efficient plant operation.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee engineering activities on low- to medium-complexity projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and plant performance metrics.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of industry practices and stay updated with ongoing changes.
• Participate in and occasionally lead internal and external client meetings, conference calls, and site visits.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program is mandatory.
• PE licensure is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of engineering design experience in power generation or I&C is essential.
• Relevant work experience showcasing ongoing growth and expansion of knowledge.
• Responsible for overseeing technical project aspects and offering guidance and mentorship to project resources.
