Power Business Unit Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify and assess opportunities in Distribution, Transmission, Substations, EV Infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Renewable Energy, and other utility-related sectors.

• Set market priorities and advise on expansion into new geographic areas, service offerings, and customer demographics.

• Track industry trends, utility capital improvement initiatives, and regulatory changes to pinpoint future opportunities.

• Build and sustain strategic relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, developers, municipalities, engineering firms, and other key industry players.

• Lead client engagement activities, including presentations, capability discussions, networking events, and industry conferences.

• Create and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.

• Act as the technical business development leader for the Power Business Unit.

• Articulate the company's capabilities with assurance and credibility to clients and industry partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

• An equivalent combination of relevant industry experience and technical knowledge will be taken into account.

• Proven track record in business development and market expansion specifically within power sectors, such as transmission, distribution, substations, or utility infrastructure.

• Experience in supporting complex power infrastructure pursuits and proposal submissions.

• Practical knowledge of utility construction techniques, field operations, and project execution.

• Background in construction operations or field operations with utility contractors or power infrastructure firms.
