Power BI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Creating new Power BI dashboards to enhance internal reporting capabilities and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Developing smart Power BI dashboards that automatically reveal key insights and emphasize pertinent information for users.

• Refactoring and optimizing current dashboards to improve maintainability, scalability, and streamline deployment across various countries.

• Implementing multi-language support for Power BI dashboards wherever possible to accommodate international users.

• Assisting the Analytics Engineering team in enhancing and maintaining existing dbt models.

• Supporting the design and implementation of new dbt models within Snowflake.

• Preparing and organizing data to enable AI-powered automated insights generation using Power BI and dbt.

• Enhancing report development processes through the use of Git-based version control, automation, and GenAI-powered documentation for Power BI files.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Power BI, encompassing dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database systems.

• Practical experience with dbt and data transformation workflows.

• Familiarity with Snowflake or another modern cloud data warehouse.

• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.

• Comprehension of data modeling concepts and principles of analytics engineering.

• An interest in AI-driven analytics and experience with GenAI tools is highly advantageous.

• Capability to optimize, refactor, and maintain BI solutions with an emphasis on scalability and usability.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
