Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement sophisticated Power BI reports and interactive dashboards that meet business needs.

• Oversee and enhance data analytics platforms to guarantee consistently high performance in queries and models.

• Handle intricate Power BI semantic models and extensive datasets, ensuring they are scalable, accurate, and efficient.

• Connect to diverse data sources and convert data into actionable insights using Power Query.

• Perform analyses with a strong emphasis on optimizing queries and enhancing data efficiency.

• Assess, refactor, and improve existing BI solutions to boost performance, maintainability, and scalability.

• Deliver information through high-performance reports and intricate visualizations designed to meet business requirements.

• Develop technical documentation to support scalable Power BI solutions.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

• Educate and assist end-users on Power BI features, ensuring effective utilization of the tools.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams, including data engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, with a B2 level or above.

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Power BI Engineer.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL with the capability to write optimized queries for complex datasets.

• Expertise in DAX, including performance optimization, context transition, advanced calculations, and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).

• Skilled in Power Query, with experience in executing complex transformations.

• Proven track record of converting complex data into engaging visual reports and dashboards.

• Well-versed in data visualization best practices.

• Strong grasp of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication skills and the capability to collaborate with stakeholders.

• Strong skills in technical documentation.
