Power BI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement Power BI reports and dashboards customized to meet the needs of business users.

• Partner with stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver BI solutions that support organizational objectives.

• Build and enhance data models and queries to guarantee optimal performance and precision.

• Apply best practices for data governance, data quality, and security in all Power BI initiatives.

• Offer training, assistance, and documentation for end-users and team members.

• Continuously update and maintain existing Power BI reports and solutions to respond to evolving business demands.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, tools, and industry trends to enhance BI capabilities consistently.

• Collaborate closely with IT and data teams to integrate Power BI with a variety of data sources.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Proficient in **DAX** and **Power Query (M Language)**.

• Extensive background in **data modeling** and merging data from different sources.

• Strong understanding of **data visualization best practices**.

• Experience in publishing, managing, and maintaining reports within the **Power BI Service**.

• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Power BI Consultant or Developer with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.

• Thorough knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Practical experience with SQL and integrating Power BI with various data sources.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to convert business requirements into effective BI solutions.

• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with additional BI tools and analytics platforms is a plus.

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• Microsoft certification such as **PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst)** or an equivalent credential.

• Experience in enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of SQL and other data platforms is advantageous.
