This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Quality Control & Standards: Assess edited videos for adherence to briefs, SOPs, brand guidelines, and platform best practices.
• Team Management & Leadership: Oversee a team of around 10 dedicated and motivated editors.
• Throughput & Debottlenecking: Track workloads, deadlines, and capacity across the editing team.
• Editor Instructions & Process Clarity: Transform disorganized client notes into clear and actionable editor directives.
• Light Production Support: Provide assistance with minor edits or adjustments during peak periods when necessary.
• Significant experience in video post-production, preferably with a strong focus on short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and TikTok.
• Proven experience in managing or leading a team of editors, beyond just editing tasks.
• Keen attention to quality, detail, and brand consistency.
• Natural ability to identify mistakes and inconsistencies.
• Capacity to deliver clear, actionable feedback that editors respect and can effectively apply.
• Fluent and confident English communication skills.
• Proficient in communicating clearly and concisely, leading meetings, providing direct feedback, and ensuring understanding on the first attempt.
• Comfortable using Zoom for client calls when necessary.
• Required to have a personal webcam, microphone, and computer (relevant software and subscriptions will be provided).
• Exceptional proficiency in English verbal and written communication (C1-C2 on the CEFR Scale).
