This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and implement comprehensive automation solutions across processes such as ingestion, quality control, editing, delivery, and archival.
• Utilize large language models (LLMs), generative video platforms, and advanced metadata/tagging systems.
• Create agent-based workflows that minimize manual tasks.
• Manage our Iconik Media Asset Management (MAM) system, including custom actions, metadata schemas, transcoding, and API integrations.
• Develop REST API and webhook integrations for post-production tools and external platforms.
• Build automation pipelines using n8n, Make, or Zapier, or opt for custom solutions in Python or JavaScript.
• Design systems with resilience in mind, including logging, error handling, alerting, and monitoring features.
• Produce production-quality scripts in Python and JavaScript/Node.js for the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create internal tools that empower editors without exposing underlying complexities.
• Develop and maintain Adobe CEP/UXP panels within the tools already used by editors.
• Review the post-production pipeline for potential bottlenecks prior to their identification by the team.
• Experiment with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, new codecs, and cloud-native media workflows.
• Take ownership of the Post-Production tooling roadmap with minimal supervision.
• Convert Post-Production creative requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with core engineering teams on infrastructure, deployment, and architectural considerations.
• Thoroughly document all systems to enable confident team operation.
• Act as the final point of escalation for complex technical challenges that the post team cannot resolve.
• 4–6+ years of experience in post-production engineering or workflow automation, preferably in high-volume advertising or broadcast environments.
• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript/Node.js, with a focus on clean, production-quality coding practices.
• Demonstrated experience in REST API integration with effective handling of edge cases.
• Expert-level experience with Iconik MAM is highly desirable.
• Practical knowledge of large language models, generative AI, and orchestration tools (such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar).
• Strong understanding of codecs, containers, color pipelines, and shared storage solutions (e.g., LucidLink).
• Experience with scripting for Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong preference for CEP/UXP panel development.
• General familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud and cloud-native media workflows.
