This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze, review, and investigate Investor deficiencies for remediation purposes.
• Oversee a suspended closed loan pipeline that necessitates the issuance of Post Consummation CD’s.
• Collaborate with the Investor to clarify the documentation required to rectify the defect(s).
• Conduct a Due Diligence review of assigned TRID conditions to ensure that mortgage loan disclosures are accurate and comply with regulatory timelines.
• Review and compare Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure documents for discrepancies based on the information uploaded into the system, making corrections to guarantee that the data is accurate, compliant, and meets all state and federal regulations.
• Finalize data input for the issuance of Post Consummation Closing Disclosure, ensuring that all final fees are accurate and reconcile with the Final Settlement Statement.
• Dispatch the prepared Post Consummation Closing Disclosure through Encompass to the borrower or via US Mail, including refunds where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal departments to acquire the necessary documentation to timely rectify deficient loans.
• Draft formal written responses to investors disputing invalid conditions.
• Diligently track and document all events and communications related to the loan file.
• Monitor the LOS System for updates regarding deficient loans or newly received conditions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Agency and Investor guidelines and overlays.
• Achieve daily production targets set by management while adhering to internal SLA timelines.
• Uphold customer trust by delivering consistent quality service and ensuring the confidentiality of all files and information.
• Exhibit demonstrated experience in attention to detail, effective written and oral communication, multitasking, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in recent mortgage closing and/or post-closing activities, with comprehensive knowledge of Regulatory and Investor guidelines for various loan programs.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and adjust priorities as required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to collaborate with all levels of management and third-party vendors.
• Independent worker with a detail-oriented approach, possessing excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
