Post Closing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the resolution of issues identified by the investor during the review of purchases.

• Investigate the loan file and address any ambiguities or potential concerns with the investor.

• Identify alternative solutions, collaborate with clients, and coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary documentation.

• Request exceptions from investors to ensure timely clearance of loans for purchase.

• Utilize investor platforms and the LOS system to gather daily suspense reports.

• Upload documentation to the investor for loan curing and purchasing processes.

• Oversee daily workloads and provide updates on all loans with conditions in the pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in mortgage closing and/or post-closing operations.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and investor guidelines across various loan programs.

• Strong attention to detail and effective decision-making capabilities.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
