This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Securitization Team.
• Act as the primary escalation point for the Securitization Team regarding general inquiries, additional file evaluations, and support with loan-level decisions.
• Assess and balance the loan assignments and workload of the team.
• Offer employee development and performance coaching during one-on-one sessions.
• Aid in onboarding and training new hires and current employees to enhance their skills on various topics as required.
• Track team performance metrics and report to management concerning documentation accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Propose process enhancements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the Securitization Team.
• Analyze production and processes to identify trends to communicate to the Securitization Manager.
• Generate daily investor reports to pinpoint loans that have been suspended for purchase and balance files as necessary within the team.
• Support the Securitization Team's duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Assist the Securitization Manager with Quality Control reporting.
• Review and seek clarification from investors when required to determine acceptable remedies for applicable defects.
• Monitor daily condition reports from investors for updates on suspended loans or new conditions as they arise.
• Keep track of the duration of loans on warehouse lines and inform the Securitization Manager of those at potential risk for curtailment.
• Supervise a pipeline to ensure that all shipped loans are either conditioned or purchased promptly.
• Provide the Post Closing Management Team with updates on the status of assigned loans with investors.
• Ensure compliance with investor guidelines to avoid incurring suspense fees.
• Review and authorize team check requests as appropriate.
• Ensure that the Securitization Team achieves established monthly purchased loan targets.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Post Closing role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Team Lead or Senior Post Closing role.
• Familiarity with various loan programs and experience in addressing investor conditions and exceptions.
• Experience with Encompass is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of agency and investor guidelines and overlays.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with both internal staff and external vendors.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities to determine solutions and identify alternative resolutions within acceptable parameters.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within set deadlines.
• Capable of making independent decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
