Portuguese Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Prepare for your lessons by reviewing the provided materials and determining what content should be taught and how it can be tailored to meet the needs of each student.

• Foster a risk-free environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and experimenting with the language.

• Record students' progress following each lesson.

• Your schedule will be entirely dependent on your availability, with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week expected.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

• Teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficient in Portuguese at an expert level and advanced in English.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• A minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps for both download and upload.

• A reliable wired internet connection (Wi-Fi is insufficient).

• A PC or laptop operating on Windows 11 or higher, or macOS 11 or higher (Linux is not compatible with our applications).

• A USB headset and a camera are required.

• If you reside in an area prone to load shedding, it is necessary to have a backup system to support your devices.

• At least 2 GHz of base processing speed and a minimum of 8 GB of RAM.
