Portfolio Therapy Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee, guide, mentor, and train personnel to enhance the effectiveness of home health and hospice services.

• Collaborate with Directors of Rehabilitation, therapists, assistants, agency executive directors, teams, and other stakeholders.

• Review and monitor agency rehabilitation policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

• Facilitate effective orientation, training, and ongoing competency for rehabilitation staff.

• Deliver education, training, and support related to productivity management, treatment-minute accuracy, documentation requirements, and clinical programming.

• Conduct agency training on payer and regulatory obligations.

• Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and company rehabilitation standards.

• Guarantee the provision of skilled, clinically appropriate, and evidence-based rehabilitation care.

• Assist in establishing quality benchmarks for outcomes, performance enhancement, customer satisfaction, documentation, educational needs, and clinical standards.

• Evaluate the function and contribution of the rehabilitation department during interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide resources for interdisciplinary education initiatives.

• Support the recruitment, development, retention, and training of therapy staff.

• Communicate with agency personnel about programs, goals, objectives, challenges, and achievements.

• Facilitate in-service training programs.

• Assess and provide insights on revenue and expenditures.

• Instruct and train on electronic documentation systems.

• Complete necessary monitoring and program assessments promptly.

• Collaborate with other departments and resources.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and the code of conduct.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology, holding PT, OT, or SLP credentials.

• Must possess a current and active State license/Registration/Certification.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a rehabilitation director in home health or a related environment is required.

• Preferred supervisory and/or administrative experience in home health and hospice care.

• Knowledge of the Medicare PPS System is preferred.

• Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary communication skills.
