This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide continuous administrative assistance to designated Senior Regional Managers and their regional teams.
• Facilitate documentation and coordination for capital projects and extensive renovations.
• Aid in the preparation, tracking, and reporting of budget variances.
• Collaborate with property leadership and accounting teams to ensure financial accuracy, including prompt support for accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Gather, review, and analyze historical income and expense information for properties.
• Create precise and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for properties.
• Assist with due diligence for property acquisitions.
• Develop presentations, reports, and other materials as required.
• Maintain well-organized records and documentation for the portfolio.
• Identify trends, variances, and performance drivers; communicate insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
• Collect and analyze market data, including rent comparisons and local trends using both internal and external sources.
• Engage with internal stakeholders (and external partners as necessary) to enhance understanding of asset performance and distinct property characteristics.
• Support internal projects and initiatives across the portfolio.
• Assist in the implementation of new programs, processes, and operational enhancements.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support portfolio operations and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Organize and manage travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
• Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and promptly.
• 1 – 3 years of experience in property management. Familiarity with Affordable programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 is highly encouraged.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient in property management systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage), including the ability to navigate, extract, and analyze operational and financial data.
• Experience in project coordination or project management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate clear, actionable reports.
• Adaptable and agile, capable of quickly integrating into new environments and contributing effectively.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel: Approximately 10–15%.
