Portfolio Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the continuous evaluation of our games portfolio across various IPs, genres, business models, and risk levels, pinpointing growth and diversification opportunities.

• Perform market analyses on the gaming sector, competitive dynamics, consumer trends, and technological advancements to assist senior leaders in defining the future of gaming.

• Develop and uphold portfolio models through multiple iterations, ensuring alignment of our games portfolio with investment objectives while managing risk and returns effectively.

• Provide support to senior strategists and executives with data and analyses that guide decisions regarding current portfolio performance in relation to future prospects.

• Assume responsibility for specific strategic workstreams and projects on significant topics, executing them under the direction of senior team members.

• Collaborate with studio and production teams to assess the portfolio compatibility and economic viability of game development proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in strategy, product management, or analytics within the gaming industry, or in management/strategy consulting.

• Comprehensive understanding of the gaming sector along with familiarity with the broader media and entertainment landscape.

• Strong sense of ownership, with the capability to independently manage tasks and see projects through to fruition.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings to diverse audiences.

• Proficient in financial modeling and experienced in utilizing mathematical models and statistical methods.

• Adept at producing clear and polished work products, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models.
