This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Serve as the main point of accountability for all relationships with third-party managed funds.
• Examine monthly reporting packages and fund information with a discerning perspective.
• Actively question underwriting assumptions put forth by fund managers and operating partners.
• Review and critique budgets, liquidity forecasts, cash flow projections, and capital requirements created by local operating partners.
• Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly variance analyses comparing actual performance to budget.
• Perform structured site visits to ongoing development projects to evaluate physical progress against approved business plans.
• Assess project cost reports, construction drawdown requests, and change order logs.
• Act as the primary daily contact with fund managers, asset managers, property managers, development firms, hotel operators, and consultants.
• Generate high-quality investment committee reports on a monthly, quarterly, and as-needed basis.
• At least 8–12 years of progressive experience in real estate investment management.
• Proven experience managing or overseeing a real estate portfolio of considerable scale—ideally exceeding €500M in total value.
• Solid track record with closed-end and/or open-end real estate fund structures.
• Experience supervising SPV structures, directly held investments, and third-party operating partners.
• Demonstrated capability to oversee and question external fund managers, operators, development partners, and advisors.
• Prior experience in hospitality real estate is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with attending and contributing to investment committees, board meetings, or advisory committees.
• Degree-level education in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional qualification such as CFA, MRICS, or an equivalent is considered advantageous.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Strong grasp of real estate operating economics, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
