Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee battery storage system projects from their inception to installation.

• Manage stakeholder relationships at the executive level.

• Foster a customer-centric culture within the executive team.

• Build a trustworthy relationship with counterparts.

• Identify and address gaps in the customer’s experience.

• Drive project progress on behalf of the customer when necessary.

• Conduct negotiations independently.

• Address customer frustrations with minimal escalation.

• Provide a comprehensive perspective on supplier risks and strategies.

• Lead and contribute to strategic reviews and discussions with suppliers.

• Manage contract documentation and propose changes.

• Collaborate with legal teams on contracting frameworks and contract evaluations.

• Lead negotiations with high-value customers.

• Oversee financial performance and scheduling across projects.

• Develop initiatives to systematically enhance revenue forecast accuracy across the department.

• Responsible for executive-level reporting.

• Establish best practice contract methods to achieve financial objectives.

• Provide technical design and engineering support by identifying technical risks.

• Collaborate strategically with the Commissioning Manager during the commissioning phase.

• Manage risk by recognizing potential issues on other projects.

• Mentor and coach team members through weekly one-on-one sessions.

• Conduct mid-year and end-of-year performance evaluations for direct reports.

• Actively participate in leading continuous improvement initiatives for Project Management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Electrical Engineering background is a plus.

• PMP Certification or proven competency in managing complex projects.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.

• Experience with electrical equipment or in the power/utility/renewables sector is advantageous.
