This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Function as a portfolio architect tasked with mapping current digital and business processes, pinpointing necessary changes, creating technology roadmaps, and playing a pivotal role in facilitating our transformation.
• Manage one or more business technology portfolios within the Sustainment portfolio (e.g., Aftermarket, MRO), encompassing associated strategies, roadmaps, solutions, and applications.
• Serve as a senior member of the architecture community by crafting clear technical architectures at the portfolio level, establishing standards, and formulating strategic technology roadmaps for designated portfolios within P&W, while ensuring comprehensive visibility between digital technology and business processes and enhancing the value and visibility of P&W’s architectural approach.
• Create and deliver robust architectural guidance for significant initiatives and collaborate closely with P&W stakeholders to guarantee alignment with business requirements.
• Offer strong leadership and overall technical direction to technology and business teams, providing guidance rooted in enterprise standards.
• Deliver thought leadership and expertise on platforms (e.g., SLM, SEM), as well as the applications and business processes tied to the assigned portfolios.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science, with over 12 years of IT experience, including more than 7 years as a portfolio architect on large-scale technology portfolios; OR an advanced degree in a related field, with over 10 years of IT experience, including more than 7 years as a portfolio architect.
• Proven experience in establishing architecture processes and practices on a global scale, including governance of roadmaps and application standards.
• Familiarity with modern architecture frameworks and methodologies that support the integration of digital technologies and delivery through DevSecOps pipelines.
• Capability to provide strategic technical leadership and influence the formulation of short- and long-term strategies and roadmaps in a virtual environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and structured business communications and present recommendations effectively.
